On arrival to the Marriott delta hotel, me and my 12 year old daughter was greeted with lovely smiles from the reception staff who was very informative and as me and my daughter was there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, the staff made a fuss of her birthday and had set up a little surprise for her in our room with ballon’s for her, and complementary drinks and they had also up graded our room to a newly refurbished room which was amazing. The beds was very comfortable and the room was well cleaned. We had all the facilities on site and in our room that we needed which was all great. The food was very tasty from the on site restaurant and the breakfast in the morning was exceptional as there was so much selection to choose from which was well presented and very tasty. The staff again was very friendly and welcoming and informative. Myself and my daughter had a really lovely time celebrating her 12th birthday and we would like to say a huge thanks to all the staff at the Marriott Delta for making my girls birthday a special and memorable one. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend people to stay here at the Delta Marriott hotel in Preston Lancashire.

Convenient location. Stopping for night en route to Worcester. Very friendly and efficient staff. As it was our anniversary, we were given a glass of Prosecco and a complimentary dessert....a very generous and much appreciated gesture. Good breakfast with excellent selections of hot and cold food. Our room wás comfortable, albeit dark because of tree in very close proximity of the window. A glass of beer before dinner on the outside patio made the whole experience a good one. We will stop here again without doubt.

The breakfast was first class, best breakfast by a mile. The quality of the produce was high and availability perfect. Breakfast staff were excellent, very welcoming and quietly doing their job. Bed was very comfortable, when we arrived it was feather pillows, but with my husbands asthma he struggles with feather, but not a problem to either swap room or soars other ones. Very approachable staff and keen to help and make your stay a happy experience A very high standard of cleanliness. Could not fault this. Obvious there is very good organized behind the seen team, keeping the hotel immaculate Restaurant and bar were kept busy by our party and they were very welcoming and happy to help and as the weekend went on remembering our drinks order was a special touch. Eating in both areas we cannot fault either We were there for our friends sons wedding and the level of service was excellent and the day for us went smoothly

Loved the location just off M6 for ease travelling down from Scotland and getting back on road next day. The front garden is lovely as is the period property and the beds were comfortable. Enjoyed using the pool and leisure facilities after the long drive from Scotland. We stayed in a newly renovated corridor so the room was great as was the new decor. Always love having windows that open as here. Reception and Leisure club staff were friendly and efficient.

The reception and bar staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially good with kids. This made such a difference to our stay, thank you. The room was furnished to a high standard and the beds were comfortable. The room was clean and there was a free drink left for each person. There was ample free car parking and the food in the bar was tasty. The breakfast buffet was extensive. The location was convenient for a stop-off from the M6, however the wooded grounds were lovely and made one feel “away from the hustle and bustle”. We will use the swimming pool next time we stay.

Beds were comfortable and I didn’t hear any noise from other rooms or outside. Breakfast was as good as I remembered and it was nice to see my family enjoy it. We went for a swim which we couldn’t have done elsewhere so the little extras made it worth spending a little more. All staff were friendly and helpful, especially as we had to arrive quite late in the evening. The barman on Wednesday night was particularly good to us. I hadn’t realised that there was a spa and salon on site but will remember for next time. Whenever I have stayed here the view out of the window has been green with trees and landscaping, so much better than looking on to roads and car parks.

Breakfast was great, staff great and helpful. The room was large, quiet, comfortable and clean. The hotel is very close to M6 so it’s ideal for travel and no noise. The hotel is clearly making improvements which don’t interfere with your stay. The spa is small but has everything you need to relax; sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and swimming pool. Restaurant has a good variety of food, is well managed and service was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely revisit if I was in the area again.

Great breakfast, great location. Yes some of the decoration is a little tired, but this is clearly acknowledged as the property is undergoing an unobtrusive renovation. Special mention to the chef working breakfast on Sunday - I had a lovely chat with him and explained our plans and journey. He then appeared at the table with a bag of fruit and some pastries to take away. A modest gesture that made a real impression - THANK YOU sir!

Lovely room and gorgeous venue, it's so nice inside. There's refurbishments going on at the moment and I'm excited to see how they rooms improve. Will definitely stay again. Breakfast was great too!
